Semax Truck AB is a well known Swedish company that mainly produces compact, telescopic counter-balanced forklifts but also battery powered tow tractors for airports and industry.

With a unique design, the Semax concept has become a concept in the forklift branch.
Our counter-balanced forklifts is above all known by its posterior cabin placed mast. Through this, the mast becomes a part of the counter-balancing result in shortening the wheelbase to be used for space-saving.
Our compact designed Semax forklifts can also be equipped with a telescopic reach. The telescopic reach makes it possible to load/unload lorries and rail wagons from one side without additional equipment such as pantograph, spacer etc. Our three base types are PaperMax, CanMax & SteelMax and are powered by diesel, LPG or battery.
PaperMax is the collecting name for our paper handling forklifts. Today we supply customers with PaperMax handling paper reels from 2-8 ton with 2,1m reach. Additional to the telescopic reach, PaperMax can also be equipped with a 90-degree tilting and Side Shift carriage, which is of great value in increasing the flexibility of handling materials.
CanMax is the collecting name for our forklifts in the breweries. With CanMax, pallets are handled in the storage as well as when loading/unloading lorries and rail wagons from one side. For some of our customers, such as Coca Cola, CanMax is equipped with long forks to be able to load up to four pallets at the same time, others are working with standard forks combined with Semax unique, integrated 900 mm reach.
SteelMax is the collecting name for our forklifts in the steel industry. The handling is with either forks or boom. SteelMax handles loads up to 15 ton and 10,5 ton with 2,5 m reach, calculated to the load centre.

Semax TE is the product name for our battery powered towing tractors. Semax TE is mainly used for towing luggage wagons for material handling in airports but also for internal logistics in the industry.

After the foundation in the year 1986, the Semax concept has continuously developed.
