A comfortable workplace with great visibility... The workplace is a priority area for Semax and one in which we invest time and money to ensure that the driver enjoys a safe environment. A comfortable and ergonomically correct workplace with uninterrupted visibility makes for agreeable hours behind the steering wheel with full control over the handling. |

The weight and dimensions of goods are constantly increasing. A consequential problem of this can often be how to operate in existing locations as increased loads usually mean bigger trucks. With the telescopic forklift from Semax the goods are handled with physically smaller equipment. |

Everything forward of the drive axle is weight... The laws of nature tell us that each additional kilo forward of the drive axle center of gravity must be counterbalanced with opposing weight or a longer wheelbase. The Semax solution is to locate the mast behind the cabin to provide part of the counterbalance, thereby reducing the length of the truck, with the added benefit of no increase in the total weight.
The integrated reach delivers a compact solution... Reach eliminates the need for long forks. The Semax solution, with hydraulically integrated reach means that the truck length can be reduced by up to 1.6 m and the width by 0.5 m, compared with conventional trucks. The hydraulic reach also means the Semax does not need any heavy extension units - units whose weight and front location would demand a bigger and heavier truck.
Environment friendly power... Semax is available in diesel, LPG or battery powered versions. All are environmentally friendly power options using the latest technology. |

- We also have two large 15-ton trucks with specialist accessories for handling thin sheet on the roll. Locating the frame behind the cab ensures excellent visibility for the driver when loading and unloading. Another major advantage offered by Semax trucks is the extendable forks that enable vehicles and trains to be loaded from one side only. Henry Hellström, SSAB Tunnplåt i Borlänge. |
